Emergency Reports was launched in 2024 in order to publish NFIRS data in an accessible format. Previously, this data was only usable by researchers. Now, it's searchable by the public for the first time in US history.

Data includes: arson, arson agency referrals, arson juvenile subjects, basic aid, basic incidents, causes, civilian casualties, EMS, fire departments, firefighter casualties and fatalities, firefighter equipment failures, fire incidents, hazardous chemicals, hazardous materials, hazmat equipment involvement, hazmat property, incident addresses, and wildland fires.
